This post is going to be short and sweet. I've been wanting to photograph the art of musical instruments for a while now and just never made the time. So on one way-to-hot afternoon in SOHO, I found myself at the Holy Grail of the guitar. Rudy's Music Store at 461 Broome Street in SOHO is one of the truly great places to shop for, or just ogle, guitars.  They have high end new and fantastic vintage instruments of every style and type.  I asked the manager, Gordon French, if I could photograph the guitars and he was more than welcoming - as long as I didn't touch the guitars and stayed out of the way of customers. While I was clicking away and capturing the art and form of some truly exquisite guitars, I enjoyed the added bonus of listening to some really great guitar playing from customers and especially, Gordon. Man that guy can play. So without further ado, put on some of your favorite guitar music and enjoy my take on the art of the guitar. Thanks for stopping by. Bob Estremera
